Advantage - Edinburgh's Disability Tennis Programme

About Advantage

The Advantage disability tennis programme was created in January 2017 to promote the lesser known disciplines of the sport made famous by Andy Murray and Wimbledon.

We are supported by Edinburgh Leisure, the Tennis Foundation and Tennis Scotland with the majority of the programme being run from Craiglockhart Tennis Centre in the Colinton area of Edinburgh.

Our goals are as follows:

  • To increase participation across the range of disability tennis disciplines.
  • To increase awareness of disability tennis within the existing able-bodied player base and the general public.
  • To create self-sustaining tennis programmes that are inclusive and focus on fun.

Who Makes Advantage?

The Advantage team is made up of LTA Accredited tennis coaches who have experience working with players who have a disability.
